This weeks WAG Wednesday puts the spotlight on Liverpudlian footballer Steven Gerrard’s wife, Alex Curran. Alex opts for the £175,000 Aston Martin DBS  when running important errands, such as getting her hair done or meeting her friend for lunch.

Double Yellows? Like she gives a shit.

Coupled with her accent, she takes the definition of annoying WAG and raises it up a notch. Thankfully, she isn’t too shabby on the outside.

Welcome to the first ever WAG Wednesday on Celebrity Cars . Each Wednesday we will put the spot light on the unusual species that is, the footballer’s wife. If you don’t know what a WAG is, firstly climb out from under that rock, and read this fantastic description taken from Urban Dictionary:

A selection of overpublicised, vacuous anorexics found lurking at football matches, easily distinguised by their orange skin tone and high body plastic index, ostensibly present for the purpose of pleasuring the England football team, but in reality with the intention of being photographed obtaining fashion advice from chief WAG Mrs. Beckham in the hope that this will lead to a future appearance on “celebrity love island”.

This feature will occasionally be car related, but 9 times out of 10 it’s a reason to post some eye candy up on the blog.

This week we take a look at Jessica Lawlor, the wife of Stephen Ireland. We are kind of scraping the barrel here as this story is actually 3 years old, but it’s getting posted regardless. Ireland, who currently plays for Aston Villa, bought his missus a £260k Bentley convertible.
